About Me

I grew up in South Florida and as the youngest of four children. After graduating high school, I moved to Orlando in 2021 to attend college. I received my Associates in Arts Degree during Fall of 2022 at Valencia College and then quickly transferred to UCF in Spring 2023. Getting to UCF, I was unsure of what I wanted my future to look like. The truth is, I always had a heart for the written word, and most importantly human connection. English was the only subject I enjoyed throughout K-12 grade. After changing my major three different times, I finally found a passion that matches my personality. I was accepted into the Nicholson School of Communication Electronic Track at UCF in Fall of 2023 and shortly began publishing stories. My goal is to take any learning opportunity that comes my way in order to grow my development in multimedia journalism. I want to be an outlet for people in my community that have a story and voice for others that feel like they don't have one.
